About Me
Hi! I'm Josh :)
I believe meaningful change begins with understanding ourselves—not judging ourselves for the ways we've learned to cope, feel, or navigate the world.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing since 2019. My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you don't need to have everything figured out to begin. Together, we'll explore the experiences, patterns, and beliefs that shape how you understand yourself and connect with others, while finding new ways to navigate life's challenges.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and changes in identity or beliefs. I'm especially passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ individuals and those navigating faith transitions, religious trauma, or experiences that have challenged their sense of self and belonging.
My work draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and self-compassion. I'm also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) for trauma processing. Rather than expecting you to fit a particular approach, I believe therapy should be shaped around your unique experiences, needs, and goals.
Above all, I want therapy to be a place where you can show up as you are. You don't have to have the right words, know exactly what you're feeling, or even know where to start. There's room for uncertainty, complicated emotions, difficult questions, and everything in between.
My hope is that our work together helps you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, a more compassionate relationship with your experiences, and the freedom to build a life that reflects who you are and what matters most to you.
I look forward to getting to know you.
